Born in Havana, Cuba, by mid last century, she studied Art History. She has been involved in numerous exhibitions in the United States, in places like the Spanish Cultural Center and the Gallery Friedric Snitzer, both in Miami. She paints, makes engravings, works with ceramics and illustrates her own poems, imprinting her personal stamp to all her works, regardless of the artistic technique used in each case. She creates a fantastic, innocent world with numerous, small figures of dreamy appearance characterized by a drawing of great precision. The circus is among her favorite motifs: small monstrous figures that become nice little animals when portrayed with lively colors and a soft treatment – like the artist herself.
